I deviated away from my undergraduate studies in Fine Art ('05 - '09) to practise in IT. I had already used computers and technology for almost two decades. It was due to my flare with audio and video editing (in my course), toying with the family router, printers, MS-DOS family pc and much, much more that I took an interest in the Masters conversion course at University College Dublin ('12 - '13).
Introduced to a foundation of Web Development, Relational Database Design and various programming language modules I passed through the postgraduate world unscathed. After working in an internship shortly after my studies, I worked at Realex Payments for a brief 11 months and I shortly after being accepted on to a Springboard programme (WebElevate 4.0) I began to work in one of the top IT providers (with over 73 customers) for Credit Unions in Ireland. The company has customers based in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, England and Scotland.
In 2019 I chose to move into a new industry (e-learning) because the role aligns with my web skills - it involves investigating and debugging technical issues in a web based environment. Currently I am working in software support as a Senior Technical Support Representative for LearnUpon.
As a Senior TSR I work in a global distributed team providing assistance to LMS administrators in the elearning industry by investigating and debugging technical issues in a web based environment.
This involves working with complex issues working with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Linux and browser debugging tools. In addition to this, getting familiarised with common API and authentication mechanisms (SAML/SSO).

Search for the list of skills that I have gained through my studies or professional career. I have included some frameworks and tools that I have had some experience with during my courses or at work. The list will continue to build and I have not stated how much experience I've had in each area. Nonetheless, I enjoy working with PHP, CSS, HTML, MySQL and learning more about JavaScript! :)
